Keeping medicine cold of flight
Freeze a water bootle and put it next to your medicines in your carry-on.
That is if the water is not frozen and no you cannot drink the water bottle :D
John I travel with my medication which needs refrigeration, some Airlines will do it and some will not for hygenic purposes. i keep min in my hand luggage under the seat and not up in the luggage compartment due to the pressure.

Bad advise, you will have the prescription for the medicine but the contents of the "BOOTLE" :D have to be made known to the security personnel just as in a previous case a new mom had to prove that she was carrying baby's milk by being forced to drink it. :D
Presumably the frozen water bottle should be drinkable also.
Double bag your medicine while removing all air. Put it in a ziplog bag and remove all air. Put it in a margarine tub and fill it with ice and double bag it. That'll last you until you get off the flight at LHR. Before landing at LHR, remove the previous ice pack (which should be close to water now) and ask the flight attendants for new ice to replace. That should last you until you hit your final destination. Yes, this may take a lot of space, but it will keep your medicine cold.
Don't give it to the FA because there is always the risk of forgetting it.
